Join the Conversation on Better Project Coordination

A construction project may begin in the office, but many of its most important questions arise elsewhere.

On a site visit, a coordination meeting, or during installation, teams need answers quickly: Is this the latest plan? Who is responsible for this issue? Has this material been approved? The information exists, but too often it is spread across email threads, phone calls, chat groups, file-sharing links, and different versions of the same document.

On 16 September 2026, VOLUM3 invites architecture, engineering and construction professionals to From Office to Site, a panel discussion on how project information, decisions and responsibilities can remain available when teams are away from their desks.

When information does not follow the project

The gap between office and site is rarely caused by a lack of information. More often, it is caused by a lack of connection.

A drawing is updated, but not everyone sees the new version immediately. A site issue is photographed, but the image remains in a private chat. A question is resolved over a call, but the decision is not easy to find later. A product or material needs to be checked before ordering, but the approved specification is buried in an old email attachment.

From Office to Site will bring together different perspectives from across the project lifecycle, design, supervision, construction, product information, and project coordination, to discuss what makes project information practical, accessible and reliable in real working conditions.
